This role is responsible for optimizing and supporting the sales operations to drive efficiency, enhance reporting, and improve overall sales performance. This role is responsible for optimizing and supporting the sales operations to drive efficiency, enhance reporting, and improve overall sales performance. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales processes, data analytics, and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in the sales funnel and workflow to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Sales Performance Reporting: Develop, manage, and analyze key sales metrics and reports, including pipeline management, forecasting, and quota attainment.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring accurate data entry, system integration, and user adoption across the sales team.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and professional services to align on business goals and ensure smooth transitions between departments.
- Sales Enablement: Provide tools, resources, and training to the sales team to improve productivity and accuracy of CRM data and reporting.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Assist in forecasting future sales performance, pipeline analysis, and providing actionable insights to improve sales results.
- Automation & Technology: Evaluate and implement sales tools, software, and processes to automate workflows and enhance sales productivity.
- Compensation & Incentive Plans: Assist in the creation and administration of sales compensation and incentive structures that drive team performance.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Use data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for sales strategy, operations improvements, and market opportunities.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce. Salesloft, etc.) and sales automation tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights. Experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools is a plus.
- Sales Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of B2B SaaS sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks in the sales process and proactively recommend and implement solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with sales automation tools, reporting software, and other relevant sales technology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Storytelling: Experience producing senior leadership and board of director level reports and presentations.
