Job Summary

As a Solution Engineer, you can look forward to partnering with key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and provide a range of technical support to our sales team to ensure smooth operations for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Prometheus solutions via online meetings, onsite visits, webinars, and trade shows
• Help prospects understand technical aspects of Prometheus products
• Provide expertise on business process and workflow, and indicate how Prometheus solutions can assist with this effort
• Manage the technical aspects of sales documents, including RFPs, RFIs, scopes of work, etc.
• Manage customer trials, which include process consulting, software implementation, and training
• Conduct end-user training for both customers and software trials users
• Create functional and technical documentation for new products before the handoff to support
• You'll be joining our growing SE team and working closely with our sales team to be the voice of expertise on Prometheus software demonstrations and leverage your active listening skills to ensure we can implement the right solution for our customers.
• Work with customers and Prometheus staff to achieve successful delivery of outcomes, ensuring customer’s needs are met
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• Functional understanding of maintenance work and why it is necessary
• Functional understanding of plant maintenance workflow, including both routine and shut down/turnaround maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Motivated to own the technical pieces of a deal
• Meticulous and driven in preparation
• Desirable but not essential: a functional and technical knowledge of SAP PM with a strong understanding of the other modules in SAP that PM interacts with, including MM, HR, and PS.
• Desirable but not essential: Intermediate knowledge of distributed control systems and real time data management solutions such as OSIsoft PI (Performance Intelligence)
