Position Summary

At Property Finder, delivering high-quality, helpful, and search-optimized content is essential to strengthening our organic presence and guiding property seekers throughout their journey. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and highly organized SEO Content Manager to own the content strategy, lead the production workflow, and ensure that all content published on the platform meets SEO, quality, and user intent standards.

The SEO Content Manager will oversee the planning, production, optimization, and performance of SEO content across multiple markets. This role requires a strong blend of editorial judgment, SEO expertise, and leadership skills—working closely with writers, editors, designers, SEO specialists, and product teams to create content that ranks, converts, and reinforces Property Finder’s authority in the real estate space.

The successful candidate will lead editorial operations, manage the content calendar, define content guidelines, and drive continuous growth through data insights, experimentation, and collaboration across teams.



Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Build and own the SEO content strategy across markets, spanning guides, community content, insights, long-form articles, landing pages, and data-driven content.
  • Develop content frameworks and topic clusters aligned with user intent, keyword opportunities, and business objectives.
  • Prioritize content initiatives based on search demand, competition, and impact potential.

Editorial Leadership & Workflow Management

  • Manage the full editorial seo process—from ideation and briefing to editing, publishing, and performance tracking.
  • Lead and coach writers, editors, freelancers, or agencies to ensure output quality and consistency.
  • Maintain and evolve editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and SEO content standards.

On-Page SEO & Optimization

  • Ensure all content follows SEO best practices (metadata, structure, internal linking, E-E-A-T, schema, readability).
  • Review and optimize existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Content SEO Specialist to refine templates, SERP targeting, and content scalability.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track content performance using SEO and analytics tools (GSC, GA, Semrush, Ahrefs).
  • Lead content audits and propose pruning, consolidation, or republishing strategies.
  • Report regularly on content KPIs, trends, opportunities, and growth outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product and Technical SEO teams to ensure content is delivered through search-friendly templates and optimized for page experience.
  • Partner with UX and Brand to create high-quality, user-first content experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Off-Page SEO team to produce linkable content assets that support backlink and PR strategies.
  • Coordinate with PR, Data, and Research teams on data-rich stories and reports.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on search trends, Google algorithm updates, content formats, and user behaviors.
  • Explore new formats (interactive content, video scripts, community-driven content, data visualizations).
  • Test new ideas and run experiments to refine content quality, discoverability, and engagement.

The Person

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO-driven content roles, content management, or editorial leadership.
  • Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, SERP analysis, and on-page SEO techniques.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to accuracy, clarity, and structure.
  • Experience managing content teams, freelancers, or agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SEO/analytics tools.
  • Ability to build scalable content systems, processes, and governance.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-traffic consumer platforms, marketplaces, or real estate.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, structured content systems, and content operations workflows.
  • Knowledge of schema markup, content A/B testing, and E-E-A-T frameworks.
  • Experience with AI-assisted content workflows and content automation tools.
  • Background in journalism, editorial, communications, or digital media is a strong plus.
