Role Overview
The Mortgage Advisor Team Lead plays a critical role in driving performance, coaching excellence, and ensuring operational consistency across the advisory team. The role is designed to blend leadership, strategy, and execution — creating a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities
1. Coach and Develop
- Conduct regular call listening sessions and file quality reviews (minimum twice per advisor per month) to ensure adherence to Mortgage Finder processes and standards.
- Identify individual and team development needs and create structured coaching plans to close skill and performance gaps.
- Provide actionable feedback that is timely, specific, and focused on improvement and long-term advisor growth.
- Support new joiners through onboarding and ramp-up, ensuring competency within the first four months.
2. Strategic Mindset
- Analyse team performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business objectives into actionable team plans that align with company goals (submissions, disbursals, lead conversion).
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Enablement team to align on strategy, market insights, and resource prioritisation.
- Anticipate challenges and plan proactively to mitigate risks across the sales funnel.
3. Harness Resilience
- Maintain high standards of performance under pressure and model composure during challenging periods.
- Encourage perseverance and problem-solving within the team to overcome obstacles in the sales cycle or customer experience.
- Build a culture of accountability and ownership, where setbacks are used as learning opportunities to strengthen team performance.
4. Drive Results
- Ensure CRM hygiene and operational excellence across the team — every case is updated, every follow-up logged, and every process adhered to.
- Run weekly team huddles to align on targets, celebrate wins, share learnings, and motivate for performance consistency.
- Monitor and manage performance against KPIs, including submissions, disbursals, lead conversion, and service quality.
Drive engagement through gamification, recognition, and team-building activities to sustain motivation and collaboration.

- Proven track record as a high-performing Mortgage Advisor.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching a team.

- Strong problem-solving ability to manage complex and stuck cases.

- Commercially driven with a strong understanding of the UAE mortgage market.
