The Role
As Project Manager, you will manage projects cared for by the Operations Project Management Office (PMO). You will be responsible for managing cross-functional working groups, both internally and externally, focused on delivering projects on time and with excellence and quality. Tasks include, but are not limited to, creating project plans, scheduling/coordinating meetings with stakeholders, monitoring/tracking tasks to ensure projects remains on schedule, communicating status updates to stakeholders and program manager, and delivery of projects on time. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about problem-solving, believe in the power of collaboration, and demonstrate that you can work effectively across technology and business functions. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, has strong organization and communication skills, and is passionate about project management.

Problems You Will Solve

  • Manage projects of varying sizes and complexity from initiation through execution phases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define the success metrics, deliverables, owners and milestones for a project
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and other project documentation
  • Document project requirements and clearly communicate requirements to teams responsible for execution
  • Coordinate, schedule, track, and monitor project activities
  • Schedule and drive meetings with stakeholders; document action items and minutes to distribute to all project team members
  • Ability to identify risks/exposure to project delivery and collaborate on solutions to ensure success and timeliness
  • Assess risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of a project escalate issues as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to keep stakeholders and the program manager informed

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing cross-functional projects of varying sizes and complexity
  • 2+ years of experience managing large and complex initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to resolve issues and escalate when necessary
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Ability to work effectively and stay connected with remote teams
  • Experience in Financial Services or FinTech space preferred
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence
  • PMP Certification a plus
