We are seeking an accomplished enterprise sales leader to join us as Vice President, National Payer Sales. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant visibility, ownership, and opportunity. You will develop new relationships with national health plans, grow strategic accounts, and help shape how Quest brings current and emerging solutions to the market.

What you'll do:
- Build and execute a strategic sales plan for national payer prospects and assigned accounts
- Create new pipeline by identifying, researching, and qualifying high value opportunities
- Navigate complex health plan organizations and build relationships with executive, operational, clinical, network, and technology leaders
- Lead the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and close
- Develop persuasive business cases that connect Quest solutions to each client's strategic priorities and measurable outcomes
- Expand relationships within key accounts by identifying unmet needs and introducing relevant solutions
- Deliver compelling executive presentations, product demonstrations, and strategic recommendations in person and virtually
- Maintain an accurate, actionable pipeline and provide clear forecasts, account plans, and performance updates
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Client Services, and executive leadership to advance opportunities and strengthen the client experience
- Bring market intelligence, competitive insights, and client feedback into our product and growth strategies
- Represent Quest Analytics at industry events, conferences, and professional forums
- Actively incorporate AI and other emerging technologies into daily workflows to drive efficiency and innovation, while maintaining sound judgment, data integrity, and compliance standards
- Consistently achieve or exceed annual sales quota
What it requires:
- At least 7 years of success selling complex SaaS solutions in a strategic enterprise environment
- At least 4 years of experience selling to national commercial health plans
- A documented record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales goals
- Experience developing new business and expanding large, complex payer accounts
- Strong relationships within the national payer market and the ability to establish credibility with senior decision makers
- The ability to lead long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and rigorous procurement processes
- Excellent discovery, account planning, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- A consultative approach grounded in curiosity, business insight, and a clear understanding of client value
- The discipline to manage pipeline, forecasting, follow through, and internal collaboration at a high level
- Strategic thinking combined with the drive and resourcefulness to create momentum independently
- Comfort operating in a growing, fast paced environment where priorities evolve and initiative is rewarded
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
