We’re looking for a Junior Production Designer to join our Brand Marketing team and immerse yourself in a role that blends creativity with technology. This role will play a huge part in our continued brand rollout and implementation.

On our team, you’ll make creative concepts real, transforming design intent into production-ready mechanical files. You’ll bring your expertise in color, layouts, typography, and more to bring our brand to life across physical and digital mediums. As part of our internal brand studio, you’ll both support the design leadership team and work independently as a self-starter.

What you’ll do:
- Move concept into execution: Own the end-to-end process of refining and turning creative concepts into production-ready print, web, and digital assets.
- Elevate the details: Use your design skills and keen eye for detail to bring our brand to life across a broad range of touchpoints, including digital ads, booth graphics, signage, swag, and more.
- Collaborate across functions: Work closely with the brand team, product marketing, demand generation, and more to create cohesive and comprehensive design that works as a system. Engage directly with the brand leadership team and marketing team to ensure that all designs support Redis’ strategic objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency: Maintain brand cohesion across all design projects, applying rigor and consistency to our visual language.
- Support marketing initiatives: Work alongside all marketing departments to help design and execute performance-driven advertising campaigns, enhance product launches, and contribute to memorable brand experiences at major corporate events.
- Gather information: Participate in gathering insights from marketing, sales, and other departments to inform design strategies and support broad company objectives.
- Promote team cohesion: Help build trust, respect, and credibility within the Brand team. Engage effectively with peers and support an environment of mutual respect and openness.
- Communicate effectively: Articulate design concepts, decisions, and processes clearly to team members and stakeholders, including brand leaders and marketers. Your expertise and authority to explain the production process will support brand education for Marketing at large.
- Leverage latest technologies: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and design trends, integrating them into your workflow to keep Redis at the cutting edge of design and execution.
What you’ll need:
- Relevant experience: 1-2 years of experience in brand production design within a well-regarded brand or agency, preferably with exposure to B2B and/or SaaS environments.
- Strong portfolio: Showcase a portfolio that highlights your ability to bring creative intent to production-ready execution, including a range of projects that cover digital, web, and print. It should reflect your proficiency in using design tools and your ability to execute across a broad range of touchpoints.
- Design system understanding: Proven experience working within design systems and visual languages, and expanding on them where applicable.
- Tech proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other program plugins to enhance the role of precision and production efficiency
- Growth mindset & continuous learning: Keen to stay updated with the latest design tools and trends. Your ongoing education in the design field shows a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Ownership and expertise: Comfortably lead independent projects and educate others by being an expert in the concept to execution process. Lead conversations with external vendors to produce high quality results when it comes to third party print, digital, and physical production
- Communication & collaboration: Effective communicator, able to clearly explain concepts and decisions. Experience in working collaboratively within diverse teams, contributing to a cooperative work environment.
- Attention to detail: Your work should exemplify a high degree of attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a mindful approach to balancing aesthetic quality with functional design.
- Time management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills and an ability to independently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Educational background: A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field is desirable but not required. Significant emphasis is placed on practical experience and a demonstrative portfolio.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $75,000 – $90,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
