The HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations across APAC, with a focus on India. You’ll manage the day-to-day execution of HR processes - from onboarding to offboarding - while partnering with global HR, payroll, finance, and business teams to provide a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

This role bridges global HR strategy with regional execution, ensuring that local compliance, culture, and employee needs are reflected in our people operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions (hires, transfers, terminations, promotions, etc.) in compliance with applicable labor regulations.
  • Generate and validate reports for compliance, headcount, and time off.

2. Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in alignment with global standards.
  • Partner with IT, Payroll, HRBP and Talent Acquisition to deliver a seamless employee experience.
  • Manage local employment documentation and files.
  • Create and issue various letters, such as experience letters, business invitations and cover letters for visa applications, reference letters, etc.

3. Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with local labor law, GDPR, and company HR policies.
  • Maintain local HR documentation and contribute to updates of employee handbooks.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely responses.
  • Support with the administration of our POSH committee.

4. Payroll & Benefits Coordination

  • Coordinate with the external payroll provider and internal Finance team to verify salary data, statutory deductions, and benefits.
  • Support employee time tracking, leave management, and annual holiday calendars.
  • Support local benefits administration and vendor coordination.

5. Employee Support & Communication

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR operational questions.
  • Provide clear, timely guidance.
  • Escalate complex or policy-related matters to the Manager, Global HR Operations or HRBP team.
  • Support HR communications and regional rollouts of global initiatives (e.g., engagement surveys, policy changes).

What You Will Need:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or HR administration, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of regional employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, HiBob, BambooHR, or SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and levels.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Experience working with a POSH committee.
