Account Executive
Job Summary
The Account Executive’s role will help generate demand and end-user touchpoints (for new and existing business) while managing the entire sales process through active lead generation, business planning, opportunity development, and closing process. This role involves working cross-functionally with RedSail’s Pharmacy Software Sales team, Account Management, Marketing, Sales Training, Sales Operations, Product Management, Support, and Clinical Services. Individuals will help drive awareness for our pharmacy solutions to Health System Outpatient Pharmacies, Retail Pharmacies, and Long-Term Care Pharmacies. The Account Executive will report to the Manager, Sales – Pharmacy Expansion Solutions. Performance is measured through quarterly/annual quota objectives and business-aligned objectives.
Key Duties
- Manage the entire sales process, from sourcing leads, executing discovery, running virtual product demonstrations, drafting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing business.
- Develop and nurture a sales pipeline within the territory
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders
- Utilizing a consultative approach, generate call points into our Pharmacy Network’s Key Decision Makers (C-suite, VP of Pharmacy Operations, Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Owner) for RedSail’s products, programs, and services.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts through precise upkeep of the CRM
- Heavy focus on sales training to ensure knowledge and understanding of solution offerings
- Develop business plans, encompassing multi-year strategic initiatives
Education/Training
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field, communications or related area
Required Work Experience/Skills
- 3+ years of Enterprise Healthcare Technology Sales experience, preferably in Hospital and/or Retail Pharmacy settings (SaaS, software, and hardware)
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles of 12-18 months involving multiple stakeholders
- Track record of success consistently exceeding quota
- Strong ability to create and foster relationships, both internally and externally
- Exceptional technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), listening skills, and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial drive and resourcefulness
