Job Description
Renaissance® is a leading provider of assessment technology for primary and secondary schools. Renaissance products promote success amongst students of all ages and abilities through personalised assessment and practice in reading and maths.
Our software helps to enhance literacy and numeracy skills, support differentiated instruction, and personalize learning to optimize student development. Immediate feedback and detailed reporting equip teachers with the information needed to monitor progress and measure growth. In the UK and Ireland, almost 6,000 schools and more than 1.4 million students use Renaissance products. Worldwide, we support over 18 million students operating in 96 countries.
The International Consultant is responsible for the development of the market to generate new business from existing and non-existing customer databases to ensure growth of Renaissance Learning products across international schools worldwide, specifically Latin America.
In this role as an International Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs as set by your line manager
- Nurturing and following up on all inquiries; inbound, call and web inquires and prospecting for new leads
- Deliver sales presentations, both face-to-face and virtually to demonstrate how Renaissance's products can effectively improve student levels of attainment
- Identify potential new and emerging opportunities for Renaissance products within the international schools' market
- Generates new leads through cold calling, educational forums, websites, social media, workshops, events as well as obtaining a database of contacts
- Build on customer relationships to support with cross-selling across the portfolio and create referrals from existing customer base
- Effectively managing your pipeline in accordance to quality procedures; meeting pipeline KPIs
- Keep up-to-date with developments within the K12 section that directly relate to Renaissance's products and their position within the secor
- Provide quotations and complete administrative tasks related to the sale
- Attendance at regional exhibitions and conferences
Qualifications
For this role as an International Consultant, you should have:
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in strong sales environment in Education/SAAS/EdTech
- Experience of building new business pipeline
- Experience of outbound calling and consultative selling
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills & consultative sales approach
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Competent computer skills/knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- CRM Management (preferably Salesforce)
- International market knowledge and selling to international markets
- Fluent in English (Spanish as an additional language desirable)
