The NOC Analyst Team Lead is responsible for supervising the Network Operations Center team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure. This role involves managing incident response, mentoring analysts, and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor NOC analysts and engineers.
- Schedule shifts and ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Incident Management
- Oversee detection, escalation, and resolution of network issues.
- Ensure timely communication with stakeholders during outages.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track network health and generate performance reports.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Process Improvement
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Collaboration
- Coordinate with network engineering, security, and application teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, 24/7 environments.
- Lead role will be in the general shift, but have to be flexible to work off-times for important meetings and be on-call for high-severity incidents.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in NOC operations, with at least 1–2 years in a lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications like CCNA, ITIL, or equivalent preferred.
