The NOC Analyst Team Lead is responsible for supervising the Network Operations Center team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure. This role involves managing incident response, mentoring analysts, and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor NOC analysts and engineers.
    • Schedule shifts and ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations.
  • Incident Management
    • Oversee detection, escalation, and resolution of network issues.
    • Ensure timely communication with stakeholders during outages.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track network health and generate performance reports.
    • Implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Collaboration
    • Coordinate with network engineering, security, and application teams.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, 24/7 environments.
  • Lead role will be in the general shift, but have to be flexible to work off-times for important meetings and be on-call for high-severity incidents.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in NOC operations, with at least 1–2 years in a lead role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications like CCNA, ITIL, or equivalent preferred.
