We are looking for a high performing Vice President, Regional Sales operating for the North America (NOAM) Region. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This role will be reporting to Chief Revenue Officer.

Vice President, Regional Sales responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Vice President, Regional Sales duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

• Increase sales through our partner base to achieve our overall revenue objectives
• Responsible for maintaining and achieving quarterly channel performance forecasts
• Lead the effective collaboration tactics between sales and Partners at both new and existing customers to drive growth and influence revenue.
• Participate directly in the sales cycle for key ‘must win’ opportunities and facilitate co-sell opportunities.
• Drive the company’s efforts to recruit new partners
• Ensure standards for Partner delivery excellence and customer satisfaction are maintained or exceeded to reduce churn and eliminate gaps in the understanding
• Oversee Partner enablement elements to ensure Partners are properly trained and motivated to sell and deliver SonicWall product and service offerings.
• Ensure partner program compliance across United States and Canada.
• Inspect and ensure proper execution on our partner business plans
• Interprets data to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis or problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
• Hold reviews with business owners to validate quality, completeness, and accuracy of sales objectives and achievements
• Work closely with the global channel team to continue to evolve our partner program to meet the market’s needs
• Successfully roll out product promotions to our channel partners to maximize promotion performance
• Work closely with product management and finance teams to design compelling promotions for our partners to take advantage of
• Coordinate closely with sales and technical teams to make sure that we are engaging partners in the right way for each opportunity
• Resolve any channel conflict issues that arise
• Responsible for partnering with department executives to recommend, plan and implement changes that result in strategic business improvements.
• Own and achieve/exceed annual sales targets and manage organization defined Key Performance Indicators
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers
• Working with National Distributors and Partners and strategize to grow their business with SonicWall
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations and Media engagements.

• 15+ years of experience in sales leadership including significant time leading teams
• Experience in the tech sector, with cybersecurity and/or networking experience preferred
• Experience working with regional distributors and resellers of all sizes
• Should be having Enterprise & Channels sales experience in previous roles within the NOAM market.
• Experience working with field marketing resources and driving marketing budgets with partners
• Able to effectively manage teams of 10 or more
• Should be able to communicate in English other than local/native language.
• Proven record of overseeing strategic Partnerships at a high growth company, and successfully improving sourced and influenced revenue and Partner engagement
• Extensive experience in and knowledge of Partner ecosystems with an existing network of relationships
• Strategic thinker who excels at relationship building and can inspire internal and external stakeholders
• Strongly capable of effectively communicating value propositions to all stakeholders in a way that gets them excited to invest more
• Data-driven with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced organization and constantly identify the highest value Partners and activities
• Capable of hiring, nurturing and motivating a strategic Partner team
• Confidence to assert, present perspective, engage others and influence outcomes.
• Highly effective relationship building skills with diverse audiences, including one-to-one interpersonal networking.
• Ability to oversee numerous projects and initiatives, delegate the details; flexing and managing projects to be reflect the evolving business priorities.

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $340,000 – $520,000 which represents Total Target Compensation (Annual Base Salary + Target Sales Incentive). The successful candidate’s actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
