Senior RFGL Product Solution Engineer

As a Senior RFGL Product Solution Engineer, you will support Spire’s Space Reconnaissance business by leading technical engagements for RF geolocation solutions across Europe and the Rest of World. This role focuses on providing space based signals intelligence (SIGINT) and emitter geolocation services to EU, UK and allied government customers. This senior role combines solution engineering, product strategy, and mission delivery. You will partner with sales, product line leadership, and engineering to create compelling RFGL solutions, manage data delivery and collection planning, and act as the EU based product lead for the RFGL portfolio. Your expertise will help advance critical security, defense, and intelligence missions for government partners.
What You Will Do
- Lead technical pre sales engagements for RFGL opportunities across EU and RoW customers
• Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle and ongoing delivery
• Design mission focused RF geolocation solutions using Spire’s TDOA and FDOA capabilities
• Own data delivery workflows including collection management, tasking guidance, validation, and SLA compliance
• Provide technical account management support for operational customers
• Represent the RFGL product in the EU region and feed customer requirements into the global roadmap
• Deliver technical briefings, documentation, and solution designs for customer and partner engagements
• Work closely with RF operations, constellation planning, and engineering to scope feasibility and align execution
• Identify product gaps and contribute to product strategy for the RFGL portfolio
• Support RFI and RFP responses, tenders, and proof of concept trials with sales leads
Key Skills
- Strong background in SIGINT, RF engineering, geolocation or satellite ISR
• Experience in technical pre sales, solutions architecture, or mission engineering
• Understanding of RF spectrum operations, VHF and UHF and L band emitters and TDOA and FDOA methods
• Ability to translate mission requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans
• Strong communication skills suited for government and defense stakeholders
• Experience working with RF data, Linux tools, and scripting environments such as Python
• Familiarity with satellite systems, payloads, tasking and ground data pipelines
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting EU or allied government RF intelligence programs
• Familiarity with IQ analysis tools and signal processing environments
• Experience with cloud based processing, containerized workflows, or distributed data systems
• Experience in tender and proposal processes for defense and security programs
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
