Overview
The Sales Operations Manager role is primarily responsible for producing actionable business insights in PowerBI and Salesforce for our sales, and commercial teams. This individual will play a vital role in supporting our sales operations processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in sales compensation administration, and a knack for creating impactful presentations and reports for internal stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales Compensation and SPIFF Administration:
- Administer monthly sales compensation plans using SPIFF, including annual rebuild.
- Analyze attainment metrics to ensure accurate compensation payout and to motivate sales performance.
- Quota Model Development:
- Build and maintain quota models that align with company goals and sales strategies.
- Work closely with sales leadership to review and update quotas as needed.
- Annual Planning:
- Key support of the annual planning process by gathering and analyzing relevant data, participating in creating the final plan, and segmenting it for different account segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Sales Forecasting:
- Maintain and enhance weekly sales forecasting practices, including preparing decks and excel tracking.
- Deliver biweekly board slides that compare the finance budget with ongoing sales calls and provide detailed reporting insights.
- Power BI Reporting:
- Design and maintain Power BI sales reporting dashboards to visualize sales performance and trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate data updates and serve as a primary contact for reporting-related inquiries.
- Board Presentation Preparation:
- Support creation of board slides to illustrate sales productivity and key performance metrics.
- Prepare insightful presentations that support executive decision-making.
- Town Hall Presentation Preparation:
- Create engaging and informative Town Hall slides for company-wide, sales, and commercial meetings.
- Ensure all materials effectively communicate updates and achievements to the organization.

- Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands, and a high sense of urgency
- Inquisitive mindset, with proven problem-solving ability, and a passion for big data
- Strategic thinker who can effectively synthesize ideas and convey complex information to varied stakeholders
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, able to be proactive to anticipate analysis requests
- Ability to work on a diverse team and across a wide range of business functions

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, compensation, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with Salesforce and Power BI
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level reporting and visualizations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
