Vendor & Contract Management Lead
Duties & Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and onboard IT vendors and service providers for hardware, software, cloud services, consulting, and support.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing models, licensing terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with IT vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance using KPIs such as uptime, response time, issue resolution, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement) to manage vendor selection and performance reviews
- Ensure vendor compliance with internal IT policies, data security standards, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Facilitate regular vendor audits, assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and process improvements in IT vendor management.
Stay informed on new technologies and vendor offerings relevant to organizational needs.
Skills Required
- 9 - 13 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or IT operations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with IT governance and compliance standards.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
