Overview
The Customer Training Consultant plays a critical role in enabling clients to maximize the value of symplr solutions. This position combines expertise in adult learning principles, healthcare compliance, and SaaS technology to deliver impactful, learner-centered experiences. By leveraging innovative training methods and tools, the consultant ensures successful product adoption, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across healthcare organizations.
Please note: Healthcare industry and credentialing verification experience is required for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote client product adoption and best practice utilization of symplr solutions through learner-centered training experiences.
- Apply adult learning theory and best practice training delivery methods while leveraging learning technologies and tools.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned products and services
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve client training experiences
- Conducts and coordinates training activities (onsite and virtual) to support clients or internal teams
- Collaborates with internal teams to provide feedback regarding curriculum delivery experiences
- Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned products and services
- Partners with Instructional Design and Learning Technology teams to review new training curriculum
- Effectively communicates and executes best practices for internal and external training engagements
- Advises on best practice functionality and processes to assist clients in integrating symplr solutions with their organization’s business practices
- Continually grows product, functional, and industry knowledge through training, research, and collaboration
- Works collaboratively with other departments to deliver exceptional client service
- Adopts department operational standards and procedures to maximize team efficiencies
- Ensures timely completion of administrative activities
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of training, teaching, or instructing experience required
- Healthcare industry and credentialing verification experience required
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills
- Strong technical aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work autonomously, while part of a larger project team
- Demonstrates effective communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
- Independent learner
- Works well in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Skilled in evaluating training effectiveness and leveraging data analytics for continuous improvement
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset for complex healthcare workflows
- Ability to deliver engaging, interactive learning experiences using blended learning approaches
