Overview
The Inbound Campaign Specialist plays a key role in enabling scalable, data-driven outbound sales and marketing execution. This individual will own the build, optimization, and performance management of outbound campaigns across Outreach.io, ensuring alignment between Marketing and Sales for targeted, high-impact prospect engagement. This role requires a blend of technical martech fluency, analytical curiosity, and cross-functional coordination — ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on execution and continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Outbound Campaign Execution
- Build, test, and launch Outreach.io sequences for outbound campaigns tailored by persona, initiative, and buying stage.
- Maintain and optimize libraries of approved templates and touchpoints (emails, calls, LinkedIn steps, etc.).
- Enroll and manage prospects based on ICP and campaign criteria to ensure precision targeting.
- Partner closely with Sales Associates, BDRs, and Integrated Marketing Managers to synchronize messaging, timing, and audience focus across go-to-market initiatives.
Optimization & Reporting
- Monitor sequence performance (open, click, reply, and meeting rates) and identify areas for optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, and send times to drive higher engagement.
- Track deliverability, unsubscribe, and bounce rates to protect sender reputation and improve audience quality.
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports to share insights with leadership and sales teams.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights to inform future campaign strategy and content development.
Systems Management & Operations
- Maintain data hygiene through accurate tagging, field mapping, and suppression list management.
- Document campaign workflows, processes, and troubleshooting guides to ensure repeatability and scale.
- Serve as first-line support for Outreach.io technical questions and workflow issues.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing operations to ensure seamless lead routing, campaign attribution, and reporting alignment.
Skills Required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, sales operations, or campaign execution roles.
- Hands-on experience with Outreach.io or similar engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, HubSpot Sequences).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action.
- Excellent attention to detail, project management, and cross-functional communication.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CRM integrations.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS go-to-market motions preferred.
