Overview
Description of work to be performed:
Collaborate with implementation teams and external customers to ensure data integrity and interface validation for symplr software solutions. Analyze and manage patient healthcare data for consistency and accuracy while configuring system software during implementation projects. Leverage analytical, technical, and communication skills to define processes for clinical data management and assist customers in achieving their organizational goals. Communicate, collaborate, and partner effectively at all levels within symplr and with external customers. Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects. Provide client training on interface testing, data validation, and associated requirements. Analyze system and dictionary table reports to assist clients in meeting data integrity goals. Map clinical interface data to standards for clinical algorithms and accurate reporting. Utilize critical thinking to test issues, recognize patterns, and understand relationships in clinical data. Maintain issue logs, execute utilities, and configure system site parameters. Configure software products for new and existing clients during implementation. Participate in implementation status calls with project managers and team members. Perform detailed interface analyses to ensure complete and accurate data integration. Troubleshoot interface issues in collaboration with customers and symplr Software Engineers. Stay current with new software products and updates, integrating them into existing processes. Create data validation reports using symplr software products and SQL. Assist in onboarding new staff regarding interface and data validation processes. Maintain and update departmental process documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills Required
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Healthcare, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field and 4 years of experience in a related occupation in healthcare facility required. The position also requires: 4 years of data analysis experience in healthcare; 3 years experience with functional practices, workflows, and needs within hospital, ambulatory, and payer environments; 3 years experience with clinical data categories including lab, radiology, pharmacy, vitals, and cardiac data, and their interrelations; 3 years experience interpreting various client data formats and mapping them to standardized outputs; 3 years experience in client engagement and customer relations; 3 years experience with Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, SQL, and Power BI; and 3 years experience establishing collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams. Role is 100% remote. Telecommuting permitted. Position reports into the company headquarters in Houston, TX.
