Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate FP&A & Enterprise Functions, the Senior Financial Analyst will own the company’s consolidated financial model and financial metrics framework. This role combines revenue and functional plans from Finance Business Partner (FBP) teams into a unified outlook for revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, and other key results; validates cross-functional assumptions and dependencies; and turns consolidated results into actionable company-wide insights. The analyst will partner closely with FP&A teams supporting Sales and Marketing/GTM, Product and Professional Services, R&D and Engineering, and Enterprise Functions, while serving as the Finance Business Partner for designated G&A functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the consolidated financial model, integrating validated assumptions and outputs for revenue, gross margin, labor, operating expenses, EBITDA, and other material measures across forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
  • Partner with FBP teams to understand and consolidate forecasts and models for revenue, Professional Services, CVO, Product, R&D, G&A, labor, and other operations.
  • Maintain clear links and reconciliations among functional models, the consolidated P&L, actual results, and executive reporting, and partner with Accounting to resolve material variances.
  • Review functional plans for consistency and identify dependencies, gaps, duplicate or conflicting assumptions, risks, opportunities, and potential management actions.
  • Develop company-wide scenarios and sensitivity analyses that show how changes in functional drivers affect consolidated P&L results and inform recommendations.
  • Own the company-wide financial metrics framework, including standard definitions, calculation methods, governance, documentation, and reporting consistency, in partnership with functional metric owners.
  • Support monthly and executive reporting with consolidated analysis, KPI reporting, validated model outputs, company-wide scenarios, and key risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze company-wide variances and work with FBPs to connect functional drivers to consolidated financial impacts.
  • Serve as Finance Business Partner for designated G&A functions, supporting budgets, forecasts, monthly budget-to-actual analysis, headcount and purchase requests, business cases, ad hoc decisions, and recommendations to functional leaders.
  • Partner with systems teams and external consultants to document and implement approved consolidation logic, model integrations, and metric calculations in the planning environment.
  • Maintain model documentation, assumption tracking, data-validation controls, and governance standards, while identifying opportunities to automate recurring consolidations, reconciliations, scenario analyses, and KPI reporting.
  • Clearly present financial findings, scenarios, implications, and recommendations to FP&A leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Support Corporate FP&A’s ownership of executive deliverables and the consolidated financial narrative by providing validated results, metrics, scenarios, and analysis.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills Required

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to combine multiple functional models into a consolidated company view.
  • Strong knowledge of income-statement relationships, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and business-partnering skills, with the ability to explain model results to technical and nontechnical audiences and collaborate across FP&A, Accounting, and business leadership.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial planning platforms; familiarity with data-querying, analytics, and visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, including model governance, assumption tracking, metric definitions, and process documentation.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and recurring deliverables in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and awareness of broader business and financial implications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Proven experience building or maintaining consolidated P&L forecasts and financial models.
  • Experience consolidating inputs across multiple functions, business units, or operating models.
  • Experience supporting annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, and scenario planning.
  • Experience defining, calculating, or governing company-wide financial and operating metrics.
  • Experience providing FP&A support to business functions or G&A leaders.
  • Experience in SaaS or another subscription-based business is preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed organization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with planning systems such as Adaptive and BI tools such as Power BI is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, business intelligence, or other financial data sources is preferred.
