Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Proposal Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director, Bids & Proposals, the Proposal Visual Designer will play a critical role in winning new business. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with proposal managers, technical experts, and business development leaders to design high-impact graphics and immersive 3D visuals that bring proposals to life. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Create visually engaging graphics, infographics, and layouts for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that align with brand standards and client requirements.
- Develop realistic 3D models, renderings, and animations to illustrate concepts, facilities, or technical solutions for proposals and client demonstrations.
- Work closely with proposal managers and subject matter experts to understand proposal requirements, conceptualize and storyboard visual elements that enhance proposal narratives.
- Develop and maintain a library of reusable graphics and templates.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to corporate branding guidelines and maintains a professional, polished look.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality visuals under tight deadlines in a fast-paced proposal environment.
- Stay current with design trends, visualization technologies, and software tools to continuously improve the quality and impact of proposal graphics.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design and 3D visualization, preferably in a proposal or business development environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling/rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for integration of graphics into proposals and presentations.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and layout.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands
An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
