Job brief:

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to spearhead the development and execution of a holistic web strategy that directly fuels The Weather Company’s overarching Consumer product vision and business goals. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands how to ship with quality and speed, is passionate about building products that drive measurable impact, and developing teams to achieve our goals.

The impact you'll make:

  • Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Identify market opportunities through customer feedback, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
  • Prioritize product features, enhancements, and releases to optimize user experience and revenue growth.
  • Lead and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define, build, and launch new product features.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all product-related matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
  • Own the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Define product requirements, write user stories, and create wireframes or mockups to communicate product vision and requirements to teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Analyze product performance data to measure success, iterate on features, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders (internal and external) and the product team to ensure product alignment with business needs.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and communicate product updates and future strategies effectively.
  • Mentor junior product managers and provide guidance on best practices in product management and leadership.

What you've accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or commensurate experience
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a consumer environment.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives from conception through launch.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
