Job brief:
We are looking for a results-oriented Senior QA Engineer with proven experience in test automation, quality assurance, and team leadership. Expertise must include designing scalable automation frameworks, enhancing software reliability, and aligning testing strategies with business objectives to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient software solutions. Demonstrated experience in optimizing testing processes using advanced tools and methodologies such as Python, Selenium, Appium, and CI/CD pipelines. You will develop and perform testing strategies and plans that include functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, and regression testing.
The impact you'll make:
- Review and analyze system specifications. Understand the application function and underlying logic
- Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to ensure system requirements are met
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, qTest, Zephyr, or similar tools
- Validate data transformations and integrity across ETL pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement test strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Optimize existing automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
What you've accomplished:
- 6+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Experience with ETL testing, data validation, and API testing
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
Nice to have:
- Familiar with CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Oracle NetSuite), and ETL Tool (Boomi)
Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
