Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. This role will be integral in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports for management, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior role.
  • 2+ years prior Public Accounting experience required, preferably at the “Big 4.”
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
