We’re looking for a seasoned Director of Platform Experience to lead the UI, UX, and product design strategy for our AI-driven cybersecurity training platform, Arena. This role is responsible for crafting seamless, user-centered experiences across the entire platform. You will work closely with product, engineering, education, and marketing teams to simplify complex technical workflows and deliver intuitive, impactful design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall design and user experience strategy for the Arena platform
• Translate product and business goals into intuitive, scalable design solutions
• Develop and maintain a cross-platform design system aligned with our brand
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Content Developers to ensure seamless execution
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and improve design decisions
• Champion accessibility, responsiveness, and inclusive design practices across all interfaces
• Serve as a voice for the user in product planning and strategic discussions
  

Experience/ Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, product management, or SaaS platform development
• Strong portfolio showcasing complex web applications or platform experiences
• Fluency in Figma or similar tools, design systems, prototyping, and modern UX methodologies
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with an ability to simplify complexity
• Experience in online education, EdTech, or skills-based training platforms
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, technical learning environments, or LMS tools
• Basic understanding of front-end development principles and constraints
