IronCircle is looking for a supportive and strategic Learner Success Specialist to facilitate and help guide our students to succeed throughout their program in the EdTech space. The Learner Services Specialist (LSS) is a multifaceted role responsible for driving student retention, program completion, engagement, and satisfaction. As a hybrid role combining the functions of student success and re-engagement, LSSs ensure students receive the guidance and resources needed to achieve their academic goals. They serve as primary points of contact for assigned universities and cohorts, managing the full lifecycle of student engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Student Retention and Success
- Act as the main point of contact for students, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support throughout their journey.
- Monitor attendance, academic performance, and student engagement, implementing proactive interventions to address at-risk behaviors.
- Maintain consistent outreach to students through scheduled touchpoints (calls, emails, Slack, LMS, and virtual meetings).
- Resolve escalations and challenges, collaborating with internal teams to ensure swift and effective solutions.
- Re-Engagement and Completion
- Identify and contact students who have paused or disengaged from the program in “Incomplete” Status to address barriers and encourage completion.
- Develop tailored plans to support re-entry and maintain progress toward completion.
- Provide personalized guidance on navigating academic, financial, and technical challenges.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes in centralized systems.
- Leverage data insights to optimize outreach strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for student success.
- Soft Skills
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly across platforms and stakeholder groups, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate initiative, apply sound problem-solving skills, and embrace a growth mindset through continuous learning and openness to feedback.
Education and Experience
- 2-5 years proven experience in student success, coaching, academic advising, or related areas.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and build trust.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and CRM platforms.
- A proactive and empathetic individual with a passion for student success.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Skilled in fostering connections between students, employers, and academic stakeholders.
- Adaptable to evolving needs and capable of contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Our Offer
The estimated compensation range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
This position includes a competitive benefits package that is eligible for additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other incentive programs, consistent with company policy and applicable law.
