Job Overview:

ThriveDX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our development operations initiatives, focusing on

AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Kubernetes (K8s) and possess strong capabilities in managing CI/CD pipelines

using Jenkins and infrastructure as code with Terraform. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing complex projects, such

as transitioning from ECS to EKS and ensuring optimal cloud health and infrastructure resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Lead the conversion of container orchestration services from ECS to EKS, optimizing our cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and health using tools like AWS CloudHealth.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their development process.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their capabilities in DevOps practices.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into infrastructure deployments and automate compliance policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve continuous integration and delivery processes.

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, including hands-on experience in managing production-grade K8s environments.
  • Extensive experience with Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CloudHealth or similar tools.
  • Strong background in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
