To be responsible for the building of document processing and data management solutions to meet client needs using the PReS Connect suite of products

To develop and manage our internal processing software platforms including MI, web, print production management, invoicing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

‍

As a Systems Developer your main tasks are:

• Communicate effectively with business and technical partners to review and understand functional requirement and specifications. Translates technical words for non-technical users to efficiently resolve problems. Assists other teams with project implementations.
• Manipulate data from various sources / formats e.g. flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, JSON, etc. · 
• Data processing and creating personalised and customised Omni-Channel communications.
• Support across the development lifecycle including testing and UAT\live deployments. 
• Follows department standards and procedures and recognises when changes to these may be justified.
• Creating one-off ad hoc jobs for clients that don’t require automation.
• Setting up and maintaining clients on our Hybrid Mail Solution.

Technical skills

‍

• Building automated solutions for transactional mailing solutions
• Working with a wide range of input formats (.csv, .xls, .xml, .pdf etc.)
• Working experience with document composition software (Quadient, CEFAS, Papyrus etc.)
• Experience with VBScript, VBA, JavaScript or other scripting or programming language 
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Capable of following detailed instructions

• HTML knowledge 
• Basic SQL knowledge 
• Experience with PReS Connect Suite
• Jscript knowledge
• Experience working with a Hybrid Mail solution
