VitalSource®, is hiring an Accounting Analyst to contribute to our Finance team located in Raleigh, North Carolina (hybrid) or remotely.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our finance team, with a primary focus on collections and cash applications. This position provides a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is a team player to join our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned month-end period close processes
• AR customer payment application
• Monitor assigned AR accounts
• Contact customers to collection on past-due balances
• Maintain notes on customer engagements
• Submit regular reporting on the status of unpaid balances
• Work closely with CS to resolve customer complaints and issues
• Assist with external audit support
• Other responsibilities as required or assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year work experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Payment Applicator, or similar position
• Intermediate experience in Excel (creating spreadsheets to include formulas and data manipulation)

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to remain flexible as business needs evolve and change
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
• Oracle experience preferred

Salary Range: $55,000 to $61,250
