What is the purpose of this position?

The perfect candidate for this role will have extensive healthcare revenue cycle experience. They should demonstrate a deep comprehension of commercial sales processes and a proven record of accomplishment of effectively collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, product teams, and marketing professionals.

Essential for this role are robust communication and presentation skills, paired with the ability to demonstrate software capabilities to potential clients convincingly.

Our ideal Solution Strategist should be an effective communicator, a skilled presenter, a persuasive software demonstrator, and a strategic thinker. This combination of skills and the ability to forge meaningful relationships will be crucial in fulfilling this role's responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Looking for some details?

  • Drive the identification of prospective client’s pain points and business challenges to creating a compelling value proposition.

  • Develop compelling go-to-market presentations that effectively communicate the targeted message to drive the engagement to the next step.

  • Craft and deliver tailored software demonstrations for audiences in the ambulatory market, from technical teams to C-suite executives, to ensure the value proposition, functionality and potential return on investment is understood.

  • Deliver engaging thought leadership presentations at industry conferences, webinars, and internal company events, focusing on key industry trends, challenges, and potential solutions.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise in the healthcare revenue cycle industry to inform and influence discussions at roundtables, panel discussions, and interviews.

  • Provide support in crafting compelling responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), leveraging subject matter expertise to differentiate Waystar solutions in competitive bidding situations.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create insightful and engaging content such as whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts, further demonstrating Waystar's thought leadership and industry expertise.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Do you fit our team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in the healthcare revenue cycle industry.

  • Proven record of accomplishment in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in solution strategy and commercial processes.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, with a history of effectively collaborating with various internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in C-suite level interactions.

  • Proven ability to deliver persuasive software demonstrations and articulate the value of complex solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to RFPs and support content creation.

  • Willingness and ability to participate in thought leadership speaking engagements and industry events.

  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet with clients, prospects and attend industry events, up to 70%.
