ABOUT THIS POSITION

This position delves into the realm of cutting-edge technologies, encompassing both hardware and software. As a Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with the other support team member and leaders to deliver timely resolutions to internal and external client support requests within the company's dynamic infrastructure environment, with a focus on both Windows and Linux environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Engage in a dynamic SaaS environment, staying abreast of the latest technologies

  • Utilize a ticketing system to systematically resolve internal and external client requests, adhering to defined service level agreements

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to monitor the company’s infrastructure, addressing after-hours issues or escalating to the appropriate resources

  • Collaborate with the Systems Support Manager on new initiatives emerging from business needs

  • Foster open and fluid communication with the Systems Support Manager

  • Leverage expertise in Linux systems administration to support and enhance the overall infrastructure

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelors degree or 2 years experience in a SaaS Infrastructure environment.

  • Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux administration and support

  • Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot issues with minimal oversight

  • Expertise in tactfully working with individuals to resolve technical problems.Understanding of virtual and physical server environments

  • Execute other duties and projects within the scope of responsibility for this position, as assigned by Management

  • Develops and maintains an open and fluid communication relationship with the Systems Support Manager

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to monitor the company’s infrastructure and resolve issues that arise after hours or escalate to the appropriate resources

  • Work with the Systems Support Manager on new initiatives that arise from business needs

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned by Management, within the area of responsibility for this position
