ABOUT THIS POSITION

The role of the EDI Analyst is to work with trading partners to ensure timely and accurate posting of all real-timely
responses to eligiblity, claim status, and prior authorization requests. They are also expected to work towards continuously
improving the department processes and procedures to ensure the highest value possible for our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Research and address real-time data discrepancy or connectivity issues with our trading partners.

  • Take ownership of transmission and research issues.

    Maintain a full understanding of the products assigned.

  • Pursue better connectivity options for automation, security, and performance.

  • Monitor real-time traffic for potential connectivity and communication issues.

  • Maintain client facing alerts to notify them of real-time outages.

  • Implementation of new direct connections and industry mandates.

  • Assist team members, as well as other teams, with production issues.

  • Assist with training new employees.

  • Research and address internal requests for assistance recieved in the EDI Real-Time Queue.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of Windows-based computer environment, including MS Office and related programs

  • Active ownership and responsibility regarding duties and task (sense of urgency)

  • Ability to work unsupervised in a corporate environment

  • Experience with healthcare claims transactions

  • Technical support experience

  • EDI X12 healthcare transactions experience

  • Excel
