Commissions Analyst

ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Commissions Analyst to support the administration and analysis of variable compensation plans for our sales organization. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate calculation and payment of commissions, while serving as a subject matter expert in commissions processing and data-driven analysis.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Administer and process variable compensation payments for all eligible sales team members in accordance with plan policies.
- Develop, manage, and maintain robust Excel models to calculate commissions accurately and efficiently.
- Partner closely with Growth, Finance, and People teams to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of compensation plans.
- Validate and audit data inputs from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, and payroll systems to ensure data integrity.
- Reconcile payments against targets, quota attainment, and performance metrics.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commission reports and dashboards.
- Analyze plan effectiveness and provide data-driven insights to improve plan design and administration.
- Resolve commission inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues raised by team members.
- Assist with testing and implementation of compensation tools or system enhancements, if applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation of commission processes and controls.
- Execute broader sales compensation plan administration and rollout as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a commission analyst, financial analyst, or sales operations role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with CRM and payroll systems (Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Understanding of sales compensation strategy and design.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
- Background in a healthcare or high-growth tech environment.
