ABOUT THIS POSITION

Waystar is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical and Operations Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for clinical and operational roles within our organization. This position plays a critical role in supporting Waystar’s mission of delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions by building strong teams across our clinical and operational functions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for clinical and operations positions.

  • Source qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.

  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

  • Manage the offer process, including extending job offers and negotiating terms as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future clinical and operational openings.

  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements in healthcare recruitment.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive hiring experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and support to candidates at every stage.

  • Represent Waystar at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related experience preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on clinical and/or operational roles in healthcare or technology sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and clinical job requirements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.

  • Active use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to enhance performance, drive innovation, and improve decision-making across business functions.

  • Ability to leverage AI tools and platforms to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and drive innovation.

  • Curiosity and adaptability in exploring emerging AI technologies, with a mindset for continuous learning and experimentation.
