As a Revenue Reporting Analyst at Boomi, you will manage revenue data operations and reporting for the company’s quote-to-cash cycle. This person will master the nuanced data and processes associated with reporting revenue across the quote-to-cash steps for SaaS products and associated professional services and be responsible for the company’s key performance metric - annually recurring revenue (ARR). You will develop close working relationships with management and staff in Finance, Revenue Operations, and Information Technology to ensure data integrity, documented processes, and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting of ARR and associated metrics. You will use dashboards and perform deep-dive analysis to identify ARR trends and surface insights on how to improve business performance. You will be an integral part of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team while also working independently with a high level of self-directed work.
What you'll do:
Act as the business systems, process, and data expert within the Finance organization for the full quote-to-cash revenue generation process across quote generation, bookings, revenue recognition, billings, and cash collection
Key partner and advisor to IT on timing and rules for data prep, cleansing, and loading into data tables and reporting tools to meet business needs
Own data stewardship of all revenue metrics with a focus on annually recurring revenue (ARR) by implementing control steps and leading data validation to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and that it meets business reporting requirements
Partner with Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, IT, and other Finance teams to implement and document exception handling to ensure quote-to-cash process errors and exceptions are identified, fixed, and where possible automated
Implement and manage reporting of revenue reconciliation across bookings, billings, revenue recognition, and cash collections cycle
Leverage Engineering, Finance, and your own SQL as necessary to pull and analyze data
Ensure integrity of ARR reporting and dashboards and develop custom reports and conduct analysis as needed to answer questions and identify trends, uncover insights, and make recommendations
Determine future revenue reporting requirements and strategic needs and develop recommendations and project plans to meet them, such as system changes, operational improvements, or new dashboards
The experience you bring:
5+ years of experience in Finance/Revenue Operations or a related role
Experience with high-growth companies in the B2B Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) industries.
Strong experience in analytics, requirements gathering, solution design, and communicating & presenting findings across functional lines of business
Excellent cross-functional project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to create project plans, track progress, and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a geographically-dispersed remote organization
Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools
Bonus point if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics and/or Information Systems, or closely related discipline(s)
Experienced with the following tools:
- Power BI
- Salesforce and CPQ

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The minimum base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Chesterbrook, PA begins at $118,175 annually + applicable annual bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
