What you’ll do:

• Support and accelerate maturity of current Design System

• Augment, improve and help maintain our enterprise design system - defining tokens, component usage, patterns, anti-patterns, and visual layouts

• Own components from start to ship to iterate—you know there is no “finished”

• Author and maintain documentation that enables product managers, designers, and engineers to get the most out of the system

• Partner with engineers to transform the design system components and patterns into working artifacts for deployment

• Collaborate with XD, product, and engineering teams to establish UI pattern usage and industry best standard

• Respect standards but constantly push where new ideas will improve the design.

• Contribute to our Design System, UI Guidelines, and their maintenance

• Design inclusively, with a demonstrated understanding of WCAG 2.1

The experience you bring:

• 2+ years of work experience designing for design systems - as a full stack design systems designer (incl. component design, documentation, supporting graphics, etc.)

• 2+ year work experience in designing for responsive web and mobile apps.

• Strong experience with Figma.

• 2+ years of professional experience in the design of complex business systems and applications, or product development, with some experience leading those efforts

• 1+ years of experience in a ‘niche’ area of strength, e.g., technical abilities, familiarity with HTML and CSS, conceptual design abilities, visual design, design systems, or content strategy

• Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills

• Dazzling portfolio of designs, work samples and/or case studies that show us how you work through the process, and the outcome of those efforts
