How You'll Make An Impact
Boomi is looking for a seasoned Salesforce professional to lead our global Salesforce Operations team. In this role you will manage an international team of Salesforce administrators, architects and developers as the owner of our CRM instance. You will drive the strategy, security, enhancements and day to day operations of Salesforce and its installed packages in order to meet the growing needs of every aspect of our business. You must be able to balance competing business needs, platform optimization and team workloads as well as manage programs, projects and relationships with business stakeholders to ensure that our Salesforce implementation is the best in the business. This role reports to the Senior Director of IT Applications. Responsibilities include:
What You'll Do

Manage Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud and CPQ

Lead a team of remote workers in the US and India

Estimate level of effort and manage priorities for sprints based on business requirements, resource availability and knowledge of the platform, implement DevOps tools for a growing development team

Gather requirements, create functional documentation, supervise and coordinate development solutions and delivery, and lead large, impactful and highly visible business projects

Serve as a core team member of many different project initiatives - Salesforce is the core business system that is utilized by all department of the company

Scope and design large projects to ensure that our CRM meets Boomi’s needs today and into the future

Manage data integrations with our Salesforce instance ensuring tight controls on data quality and integrity. Integrations include provisioning of account and products on our Boomi platform

Lead the tech debt reduction efforts and security initiatives of our mature Salesforce implementation.

Manage vendor relationships, including vetting, budgets, purchase decisions and scope of work

Work with cross-functional business teams to understand their priorities, communicate statuses and operate as the Salesforce SME for all business needs

Identify areas of opportunity in our business systems and continue to drive improvements

Develop and grow an amazing team of Salesforce professionals - lead by example as a working manager

Be the escalation point for support cases that impact global customer accounts in our Boomi platform

Ensure that the platform and all enhancements are properly documented

Prepare performance and activity reporting regarding all touch points of the CRM with KPIs that align with overall business goals and strategy
The Experience You Bring
-
8+ years leading Salesforce teams with extensive, significant, and comprehensive administrative experience across the entire Salesforce platform
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or a similar discipline

Multiple Salesforce certifications included advanced administrator and at least one consultant certification
-
Expert level understanding of Salesforce security controls including roles, profiles, OWD, sharing settings and the ability to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities

Highly organized, articulate and communicative leader who is comfortable working with all levels of business stakeholders across the user base, including executive leadership team members
-
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and ability to work outside the box to find the right solution for any given issue
-
Experience working in CPQ and good knowledge of the quote to cash process
-
Excellent project management, communication and documentation skills
-
Experience leading development releases and managing sprints, JIRA experience preferred
-
Team first approach to leadership - no task is too big or too small to help the team achieve their goals and be successful in their work

Ability to juggle and balance busy, demanding, and ever changing requirements of an exciting and fast growing SaaS business
Bonus Points If You Have
-
Knowledge and experience with a SaaS company and understanding the complexities of ARR, renewals, and amendments

Strong Understanding of SDLC methodologies

CPQ Specialist or Application or Data Architect certifications are a plus
-
Experience with integrations, specifically with finance systems
-
SOX, CAB and Internal Audit compliance management experience
-
Ability to work EST core hours, while being available to the global team as needed

US Remote - East Coast or Central Time Zone Preferred

Compensation and Benefits
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Chesterbrook, PA begins at $157,712. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
