In this role, you will be responsible for driving our capabilities in M&A and strategic partnerships to accelerate the Boomi business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Development, Strategy, or Strategic Finance within the SaaS industry, coupled with exceptional strategic thinking and program management skills and a proven ability to drive successful outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Alliance and Market Evaluation: Evaluate potential alliances, joint ventures, and acquisitions to assess alignment with business goals, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and finance teams to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives and ensure successful execution.
  • Due Diligence and Program Management: Develop and effectively run cross-functional processes to complete due diligence on target alliance and acquisition opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Drive negotiations and develop partnership agreements that create mutual value and drive revenue growth for the company.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential partnership and M&A opportunities that will contribute to the company's growth strategy.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish metrics to measure partnership and acquisition performance and success and provide regular reporting and updates to senior management

The Experience you bring:

  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in strategic business development, Corporate Development, or related roles within the SaaS industry
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, market dynamics, and
    technology trends
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to build
    rapport and credibility with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and leading complex projects to
    successful outcomes

Bonus points if you have:

  • Prior experience in private-equity or public SaaS companies
  • Ability to develop and present effective executive-level communications
  • MBA

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $178,085 - $267,128 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
