Boomi is looking for a Strategic Operations Manager who will play a key role in our dynamic team, directly supporting the Chief of Staff to the CEO. This position is pivotal, enabling you to oversee and implement a wide range of projects and tasks that have a direct impact across our organization. This role is ideal for someone ready to step into a varied, high-responsibility position that bridges multiple facets of our business. `This individual will serve as the CEO’s Chief of Staff’s right hand, handling projects and tasks across the entire organization. The responsibilities will shift as needs change, but below is a representative sample of core responsibilities.

What you'll do:

  • Identify operational gaps and develop plan to resolve, including business case creation, stakeholder engagement, dependencies and milestones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive forward strategic initiatives
  • Methodically prioritize programs/initiatives against company strategy and impact
  • Develop deep relationships with Executive Leadership Team to understand pain points and orchestrate meaningful change within the global organization
  • Create executive and Board of Director materials
  • Assist COS in development and rollout of company-wide strategy cascade, identifying room for improvement and tracking effectiveness
  • Work with Finance and Revenue Operations to track performance against company KPIs
  • Act as a business owner, proactively identifying business needs and solving them
  • Participate in the development and management of executive leadership core meetings and offsites, continuously optimizing for effectiveness

The experience you bring:

  • 5-8 years of consulting and/or project management experience, preferably within a top-tier consulting firm, PE firm or high-growth SaaS/tech organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, programs, or initiatives from conception to completion
  • Track record of identifying business problems and implementing solutions
  • Experience working across functional areas, including Sales, Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing and others
  • Working understanding of B2B technology operating models
  • Experience setting, tracking, and reporting against KPIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and distill data
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior-level executives is a plus
  • Willingness to flex responsibilities and scope based on organizational needs including a mix of execution-based tasks and strategic projects
  • Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $130,000 - 175,000 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
