Location: Boomi Headquarters, Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid Option Available)
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineering Intern to assist our Data Management team in managing and maintaining our Operational Data Warehouse. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for students enrolled in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field of study to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to support various projects.
- Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and schedules
- Update or add new data sources to our Data Mart
- Help alleviate tech debt within our data processes and procedures
- Explore and work with tools like DBT and Snowflake
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Working understanding of SQL and Python programming.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with DBT or Snowflake is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for data and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
