We plan and develop a range of marketing events for multiple business streams, enlisting services and exhibiting materials from a range of sources and vendors. Then, we execute them seamlessly pre, during and post event. Above everything, it’s about giving internal clients and external customers a consistently superior experience.

As an Events Advisor, you will be responsible for key event components, and you will work with a cross functional team that includes marketing and sales as well as external vendors bringing our Boomi solutions to the forefront of our customers and prospects consideration as we work together to integrate and innovate.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the budget for various Boomi Marketing events, tracking projects and managing vendor scope and execution to ensure exceptional customer, and attendee experience
  • Utilize knowledge of the company’s portfolio of products, services and solutions to best position each engagement for success
  • Research available venues and recommend options based on functionality, brand fit and financial parameters
  • Coordinating logistics via vendor relationships, including facility, exhibit set-up, equipment load-in and out as well as F&B
  • Compile summaries of total event costs, audience profiles, and attendees' comments analyzing key KPI’s to drive on-going ROI
  • Collaborate with Senior event planners that deliver critical work streams such as Food and Beverage, Hotel block management, Creative and Signage as examples

The Experience you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience
  • High level of proficiency with productivity suites (Microsoft or G Suite)
  • Experience in implementation of brand guidelines
  • Previous experience with budgeting

Key competencies:

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience with event CRM software, tracking and analysis
  • Possesses strong knowledge of hotel/venue contract terminology, rooming list management, space planning, menu planning, & budgeting
  • Well-organized with requests, files, and archives
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving; demonstrates initiative and innovation appropriate to the assignment and timeframe
  • Flexibility in dynamic and fast-paced environment

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $75,000 - $100,000 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
