How You'll Make An Impact

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Alliances Team Leader to drive our commercial partner sales team. This role will be responsible for building, nurturing, and scaling partner sales teams to accelerate business growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading partnerships, driving business outcomes through partner ecosystems, and managing a high-performing alliances team.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    • Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that align with commercial sales team objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement a partnership strategy that supports business growth.
    • Support negotiation of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment on goals, metrics, and responsibilities.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and grow the alliances team to meet and exceed performance goals.
    • Develop and nurture a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation within the team.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members, facilitating their professional development.
  • Partner Enablement:
    • Design and implement scalable partner enablement programs, ensuring partners are equipped with the knowledge and resources to succeed.
    • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to align partner strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Drive joint marketing and sales initiatives to increase partner-driven revenue.
  • Performance Management:
    • Define and monitor key performance metrics for partner success and team performance.
    • Regularly analyze partnership performance and provide recommendations to maximize revenue growth.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on alliance performance to executive leadership.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building:
    • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and shared success.
    • Serve as a key liaison between partners and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, conflict resolution, and alignment on goals.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth.

The Experience You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience driving revenue growth through strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and talent development.
  • Experience in high velocity sales environments
  • Experience with Systems Integrators, ISV’s, and resell partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Hybrid role 3 times a week in office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Compensation

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges from $225,000- $280,000 CAD annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
