Overview:

Boomi is looking for a Senior OEM Presales Engineer to support our growing OEM and Embedded business. This senior-level role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a deep understanding of selling embedded solutions to other technology companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in integration, API management, or data management, with familiarity with Boomi or competitors as a plus.

This role spans SMB through Enterprise segments, helping acquire new OEM logos while also supporting existing OEM partners to drive adoption and expansion. The Senior OEM Presales Engineer will collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure our partners’ technical success and influence Boomi’s go-to-market strategy and roadmap.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Sales & Solutioning:

    • Lead technical discussions with prospective and existing OEM partners to understand their needs and map Boomi solutions to their business objectives.

    • Deliver compelling demonstrations, POCs, and architectural guidance tailored to OEM use cases.

    • Establish credibility with engineering, product, and executive personas within partner organizations.

  • OEM Partner Success & Expansion:

    • Support existing OEM partners in increasing adoption and expanding their use of Boomi.

    • Provide technical enablement to partner sales and technical teams.

    • Assist partners in solution architecture, integration patterns, and best practices to maximize value.

  • Product & Market Influence:

    • Work closely with Product Management to provide feedback from the field, influencing roadmap and strategy based on real-world OEM use cases.

    • Act as a bridge between OEM prospects, partners, and internal teams to refine messaging, pricing, and go-to-market motions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with sales, marketing, and enablement teams to refine and scale OEM-specific content and strategies.

    • Support OEM sales cycles from discovery through technical validation and onboarding.

The Experience You Bring:

  • 5+ years of presales experience in OEM, embedded, or white-label software sales.

  • Strong expertise in integration, API management, or data management.

  • Proven ability to engage with engineering, product, and executive teams at technology companies.

  • Strong presentation, technical demonstration, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for different audiences.

  • Experience working with product management to influence roadmap based on customer needs.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer and partner engagements.

  • Familiarity with Boomi or competitors (MuleSoft, Workato, SnapLogic, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $163K - $204K (inclusive of commission).
