Position Summary:
As an HR Business Partner at Boomi, you'll manage all HR-related activities to ensure on-site (in Barcelona) and in-region support to employees across Europe. This role will partner with Global HRBPs and local leadership teams to promote Boomi's culture and enrich the employee experience as we continue to establish our footprint across Europe. By embedding yourself within the business, you’ll ensure HR initiatives are aligned with key business objectives and contribute to the ongoing transformation and growth. This role will be based in our Barcelona office and candidates will need to have the ability to travel throughout Europe when required in support of their responsibilities.
What you'll do:
- In partnership with global HRBPs, lead the execution of corporate HR initiatives across EMEA, including annual pay planning, corporate bonus program, and engagement survey review & action plans
- Coach, train and guide managers as they navigate various components of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, development and retention).
- Create and maintain proactive, effective, and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to provide advice, guidance, and counsel on HR matters locally
- Form and provide local talent and culture insights and proactively develop strategies to address areas of investment.
- Participate as an active and engaged HR partner with the Global HRBP organization and broader HR team.
- Partner with regional business leaders to develop and maintain data driven people strategies specific to their organization
- Develop and implement local HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local employment law across all countries of operation
- Investigate employee relations issues and performance concerns while maintaining confidentiality, consistency, and sensitivity
- Advise on courses of action related to daily issues with employees that include but are not limited to disciplinary action plans, attendance management, performance management and other work-related problems
- Review and explain HR policies and programs and assist with the rollout of updated or new as HR programs and initiatives.
The Experience you bring:
- 8+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner or similar HR role supporting multiple countries in Europe
- Very strong knowledge and pan-European expertise in: employment law and regulatory compliance, employee relations and investigations, managing processes through Works Councils, grievances, investigations and employee leaver processes
- Experience supporting/partnering with sales teams in an HR capacity
- Experience building trusted relationships with managers and executives and coaching them through people related decisions
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work regionally to align business and HR strategy
- Grado Universitario / Bachelor's Degree in HR Administration, Business, or related field is preferred
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in a dedicated, specialty HR role such as talent acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits
- Experience in the Tech/SaaS /iPaaS industr
- Master's degree
- Additional European Languages

- Strong ability and comfortability to guide, coach, and influence leaders to align business and HR strategy
- Ability to discuss basic organizational development matters and the fundamental issues of the HR functional areas with management

- Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment while also working cross-functionally to move the business forward
