We currently have an opening on our team for an experienced Presales Engineer in Japan to work with the Sales team to bring innovative solutions and strategies that map Boomi solutions and technologies to meet customer needs and support the sales process and effort. This includes Integration, API Management, Master Data Management (MDM) and Workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in Boomi technology and solutions and be able to apply it to a prospects and customers' business outcomes
  • Perform discovery, needs gathering, and requirement analysis for prospects and customers
  • Develop, present and deliver high impact presentations and demonstrations of the Boomi solutions
  • Coordinate/facilitate all other presales activities such as Proof of Concepts, RFP responses, etc.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of Boomi to all levels including line of business managers, technical architects and C level executives
  • Work with Account Executives to help manage, support, and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed
  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within our CRM system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Boomi's products throughout the Boomi user community

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with presales for enterprise
  • Have the business savvy to understand & probe customer needs and demonstrate quantifiable business value
  • Proven technical ability to design and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Excellent analytical and procedural thinking skills
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technology, and systems integration design
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer focused acumen
  • Effectively manage multiple engagements at one time
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, SOAP, OData and REST based APIs
  • Scripting skills with Java, Groovy and JavaScript
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent

Preferences

  • Client facing work in the application integration space
  • Strong knowledge of networks
  • Familiarity with Boomi Integration or other visual-based integration development/mapping tools
  • Familiarity with other API Management, Master Data Management (MDM) and Workflow.
  • Technical and/or functional experience with using or integrating with common business applications such as: Salesforce, NetSuite, Taleo, Workday, AWS, Azure, Microsoft Dynamics products, Oracle, SAP, etc
  • Database skills including SQL, data modeling, and databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
  • General knowledge of common business systems (CRM, SFA, ERP) and processes (lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.)
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, React and JavaScript
