As a Senior Marketing Events Advisor on the Corporate Events Marketing Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of key Trade Show and Industry events, working and leading a cross-functional team that includes marketing and sales as well as external vendors. This role is critical in bringing our Boomi solutions to the forefront of our customers and prospects consideration as we work together to integrate and innovate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of key industry and tradeshow events such as a Databricks, Snowflake or Suiteworld
  • Oversee the budget for various Boomi Marketing events, tracking projects and managing vendor scope and execution to ensure exceptional customer and attendee experience
  • Coordinate logistics via vendor relationships, including facility, exhibit set-up, equipment load-in and lead capture upload
  • Utilize knowledge of the company’s portfolio of products, services and solutions to best position each engagement for success
  • Research available or assigned venues and recommends options based on functionality, brand fit and financial parameters
  • Compile summaries of total event costs, audience profiles, and attendees' comments analyzing key success metrics to drive on-going results as well as to identify cost savings
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver critical work streams such as Food and Beverage, Hotel block management, Creative and Signage, and more

The Experience You Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience delivering top tier Sponsorships at Industry Events such as Gartner, SAP, HumanX, Databricks, Snowflake or Consumer Electronics Show
  • High level of proficiency with productivity suites (Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Power BI and Asana or other similar project management software solutions)
  • Experience in implementation of brand guidelines
  • Previous experience with budgeting

Bonus Points If You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Key Competencies:

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience with event CRM software, tracking and analysis
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of hotel/venue contract terminology, rooming list management, space planning, menu planning, & budgeting
  • Well-organized with requests, files, and archives on Google Drive
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrates initiative and innovation appropriate to the assignment and timeframe
  • Flexibility in fast-paced environments

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $102,000-$145,000 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
