Job Overview

Macrobond is building a dedicated product capability to accelerate the development of AI-native products and workflows. Product leadership will play a central role in translating Macrobond’s platform strategy into deliverable products, including semantic search, knowledge systems, and AI-assisted research workflows. This includes shaping how macroeconomic tools support both the production of insights and the consumption of those insights across Macrobond platforms.

The role focuses on driving execution at scale, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex product initiatives. This requires a combination of product thinking and program management to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes that enable faster discovery, analysis, and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Translate platform-level strategy into a clear product roadmap, priorities, and deliverables
  • Refine and evolve product direction based on user needs, delivery constraints, and learnings
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform evolution
  • Ensure product decisions are grounded in user value, feasibility, and business impact

Product Discovery and Definition

  • Lead product discovery efforts to identify high-impact opportunities and validate assumptions
  • Define product requirements, scope, and success criteria for new capabilities
  • Work closely with Design and Engineering to shape solutions from first principles
  • Ensure clarity and alignment across all product initiatives

AI Product Development

  • Define how AI capabilities are integrated into user workflows across the platform
  • Collaborate with AI Engineering to translate technical capabilities into valuable product features
  • Ensure AI-driven features deliver practical value in real user contexts
  • Support evaluation of product performance, adoption, and impact

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, and AI teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes
  • Align stakeholders across product, commercial, and leadership teams
  • Establish effective product and delivery processes that support speed, quality, and alignment
  • Support hiring and development of the product function as the team scales

User and Market Alignment

  • Maintain a strong understanding of user workflows, pain points, and industry trends
  • Ensure product decisions reflect real customer needs and market dynamics
  • Support engagement with clients and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights
  • Contribute to positioning and go-to-market alignment for new capabilities

Required Qualifications and experience:

  • Strong experience in product management for complex software or data-driven products
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution through clear roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery across multiple teams or workstreams
  • Strong program management skills, including planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams in a product-led environment
  • Good understanding of AI-enabled products, data platforms, or analytical tools
  • Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear product direction and execution plans
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with evolving requirements in fast-paced environments
