New Relic is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Strategic Sales team as a Senior Director. This role is vital for driving growth across EMEA, focusing on expanding within existing strategic customers, and also winning strategically important new logos. We are looking for a customer-centric sales leader with a proven track record in exceeding SaaS sales growth targets, especially within strategic accounts. The ideal candidate is ambitious, data-driven, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Director and VP-level leaders in Sales, Customer Adoption, Product, Marketing, and Enablement to align strategic priorities, address risks, and remove obstacles, ensuring success at the regional and company level.
  • Ensure strong aligned account, opportunity and commercial strategies and plans are in place for each strategic account in the Strategic territory.
  • Own regional strategies for field enablement, marketing campaigns, and sales initiatives, serving as the global point of contact for the region.
  • Forecast future needs, adapting resources and enablement strategies to swiftly implement changes as market dynamics evolve.
  • Evaluate and solve high-level problems to enhance GTM efficiencies, communicating solutions to executive leadership.
  • Refine strategies based on an understanding of new processes and their impact on GTM effectiveness before implementation.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in driving high performance across the team by setting defined expectations.
  • Consistent track record of achievement over the past three years.
  • Equitably managed team expectations, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Experience leading high-achieving teams, equipping and empowering them to identify and solve complex challenges.
  • Strong financial acumen in developing accurate forecasts and effectively communicating business challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SaaS market, particularly in observability and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow, coach, and manage diverse teams.
  • Expertise in implementing measurement systems to set fair and effective success metrics.
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities, with a focus on amplifying group success company-wide.
  • Experienced in developing KPIs for broad teams to achieve strategic objectives.
