What you'll do

  • The Master of the Demo: Lead high-impact product demonstrations, showcasing how our platform solves complex engineering headaches for mid-market clients.
  • Lead the Proof of Value (POV): Partner with customers to configure and set up environments in production or test settings, guiding them through the technical "why" behind New Relic.
  • Technical Evangelism: Maintain a deep understanding of your customers’ cloud ecosystems, from OpenTelemetry (OTel) to Serverless, to advocate for better observability.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Partner hand-in-hand with our Account Executives to identify new opportunities, translating "tech-speak" into value that helps businesses grow.
  • Shape the Product: Be the voice of the customer by relaying field feedback directly to our Engineering and Product teams.

This role requires

  • Consultative Expertise: Experience supporting pre-sales engagements, or a background in SRE/Engineering with a strong desire to move into a commercial, influential role.
  • Cloud-Native Foundation: Deep technical knowledge of modern tech stacks, including Cloud, Containers, and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
  • Modern Tooling: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring open standards like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, you are a natural at objection handling and staying calm under pressure.
  • An Inquisitive Mind: You are a continuous learner who wants to stay at the forefront of the observability field.

Bonus points if you have

  • Multilingual Skills: You are a fluent French or German speaker (highly desirable for our European mid-market expansion).
  • Monitoring Background: Prior experience with performance monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, or User Experience).
