What you'll do

Job Description Summary:
Provide primary computer support for users based in Atlanta.
Works closely with other IT teams to ensure dependable and adequate IT services.
Provide support to other sites or remote users as necessary.

Job Description
Coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots incoming employee calls.
Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access.
Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel.
Provides case status updates to management and end-users.
Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.
Support users in accordance with all corporate IT standards.

Support activities can include:
Diagnose hardware and software faults and providing resolutions
Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems and applications
Supporting launch of new applications and technology rollouts.
Document, prioritize, and manage multiple service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
Document and maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets in ATL.
Manage the timely submission of purchase requisition and invoice for IT.
Perform and document procedures in order to increase IT knowledge base. Share acquired knowledge among the other IT Americas team members

Skills and Experience we desire

Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience.

Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
3 years of experience working with Windows. Apple, and Linux.

Certification:
ITIL Certification (Nice to have)
