Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Cloud (IICS) and Informatica PowerCenter Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter to support our organization's data integration needs. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, experience in cloud-based ETL tools, and expertise in Informatica products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS) and Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses or target systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL development.
• Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, workflows, and scripts in Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter to ensure efficient data integration and processing.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing of ETL processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data quality, performance, and scalability in a timely manner.
• Experience in SQL and database concepts with experience in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Unix operating system/commands and shell scripting.
• Optimize and tune ETL jobs and workflows for better performance and scalability, considering factors such as data volume, complexity, and processing time.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and configurations of ETL processes, workflows, and components for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter technologies to continuously improve ETL development processes and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including database administrators, system administrators, and business users to ensure successful deployment and operation of ETL solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers or team members working on ETL projects.

Skills and experience we desire

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica Cloud (IICS) and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Designer, Mapping Designer, Workflow Manager, and other Informatica tools.
• Experience/Exposure to functional Knowledge on either Supply Chain and Procurement or Financials modules is preferred.
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment and integrating with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
